Herbal Stimulant Laxative
Indications
for Use: Chocolate Smooth Move® is a sweet tasting herbal laxative tea for use in
relieving occasional constipation. This product generally produces bowel
movements in six to twelve hours.
Chocolate Smooth
Move®
provides gentle relief from occasional
constipation. Senna leaf promotes bowel movement by direct action on the
intestine.* A single serving provides an effective dose of sennosides from senna
leaf, which have proven stimulant laxative action and are generally recognized
as safe and effective by the U.S. FDA. Another ingredient in this tea, roasted
breadnut, is collected by indigenous communities in Central America. Our use of
the breadfruit provides an environmentally sustainable economic alternative to
deforestation for cattle grazing, monoculture crops and tree cutting for
plywood.
Ingredients Senna leaf 1080 mg.
Proprietary blend: Roasted breadnut seed, licorice root, cocoa seed dry extract,
roasted carob pod.
Directions
for use:
Pour 8 oz. of boiling water over one tea bag and steep, covered, for 10-15
minutes. Adults and children over 12 years: Drink 1 cup before bedtime. If
necessary, repeat the next day not to exceed 4 cups in 24 hours. Children 6-12
years: Drink 1/2 cup before bedtime. If necessary, repeat the next day not to
exceed 2 cups in 24 hours. Children under 6 years: Consult a doctor before use.
Warning:
As with any drug if you are pregnant or nursing a baby seek the advice of a
health professional before using this product. Do not use laxative products when
abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present unless directed by a doctor. If
you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that persists over a period of
two weeks consult a doctor before using a laxative. Laxative products should not
be used for a period longer than one week, unless directed by a doctor. Rectal
bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative product may
indicate a serious condition. Discontinue use and consult your doctor. In case
of accidental overdose seek professional assistance or contact a poison control
center immediately. Keep this and all medicines out of the reach of children.
